These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlickDoc ("we", "our", "us"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By joining the FlickDoc waitlist, creating an account, or using any FlickDoc service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use FlickDoc. These terms apply to all users, including waitlist members, beta testers, and paying subscribers.
2. Description of Service
FlickDoc is an AI-powered video generation platform that converts documents into animated explainer videos. FlickDoc is currently in private beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change before and after public launch.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your password secure and notify us immediately at hello@flickdoc.pro if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use FlickDoc only for lawful purposes. You must not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains illegal material, or is designed to harm others. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the FlickDoc platform or API.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the videos you generate. By using FlickDoc, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service. We do not use your documents or videos to train AI models or share them with third parties.
6. Credits and Payments
FlickDoc operates on a credit system. Credits are consumed when generating video content. Credit balances are non-transferable and expire if your subscription lapses. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused credits within 7 days of purchase.
7. Beta Access
During the beta period, FlickDoc is provided as-is. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice. Beta pricing is subject to change at launch. We will give waitlist members reasonable notice before transitioning to paid plans.
8. Intellectual Property
FlickDoc, its logo, and all underlying technology are owned by FlickDoc, Inc. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of FlickDoc intellectual property to you. Feedback you provide to us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers
FlickDoc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before use.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlickDoc's liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time by emailing hello@flickdoc.pro. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your access to the service ends and unused credits are forfeited.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of FlickDoc after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FlickDoc, Inc. is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
